With Stuttgarter Filmwinter – Festival for Expanded Media 2017 we’ll be celebrating our 300th edition. Our venerable festival is dedicated to the good old lie. This is why we think the time has come to re-conquer the lie and give it back to imagination, art and dreams singing alongside the band Tocotronic „We desperately need new lies (…) to warn us of blunt truths.“
Stuttgarter Filmwinter – Festival for Expanded Media is a festival for film and media art and at the same time one of the most important international platforms for media discourse. The international short film competition, the Expanded Media exhibition, curated programs, workshops and a film program for children and teenagers.. all this and much more awaits you.
